Sunday 14 october 2007 - Abcoude-Amsterdam race - Afternoon party at Willem III

On Sunday most rowers will start the traditional Abcoude Amsterdam Race (now an international race).

The race will be done in C-boats and Wherries. Racing boats are not allowed, since it is a race of traditional boats.

At 10:00 the crew will leave to go to the start in the nice town Abcoude. Every body will be packed with extra clothes and food for lunch.

At around 12:00 everybody will arrive in Abcoude, where some administrative things have to be taken care of, like weighing the cox. There everybody will eat their lunch and prepare for the start.

At 14:00 the race starts. It will take approximately 1 hour to get to the finish at Willem III. After the finish there is a afternoon party at Willem III with food and drinks.
